Thomas L. Rivers

  Thomas L. Rivers, 39, of Bossier City, died in the VA Hospital
in Palo Alto, Calif., on Thursday, March 14, at 6:20 p.m.,
following a short illness.

  Rivers is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Rivers of
Bossier City; two brothers, Frank Rivers, and Donald Rivers, both
of Conway, Ark,; two sisters, Sister Mary Martinette of Ft.
Worth, Tex., and Sister Mary Glenice of Kraemer, La.

  Rivers was a retired SSgt. of the United States Air Force.

  Funeral services were held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church on
Monday, March 18, at 10 a.m., with the Very Rev. Msgr. Robert C.
Friend officiating.

  Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of
the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were from England
Air Firce Base in Alexandria.
