Elie Rivers Jr.

  Elie Rivers, Jr., 33 of Logansport, died in Shreveport on
Sunday, Nov. 17, after a short illness.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marie Rivers of Logansport; his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elie Rivers Sr. of Zwole; and five sisters,
Mrs. Callie Lopez of Houston, Tex., Mrs. Marie Carrier,
Petersburg, Va., Mrs. Louise Smolock of Honolulu, Hawaii, and
Mrs. Winnie Ebarb, and Miss Betty Rivers of Zwolle.

  Funeral services were held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in
Zwolle on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 10 a.m., with the Rt. Rev. Msgr.
Robert C. Friend officiating.
