Joseph Rivers

  Joseph L. Rivers of Zwolle, died on Friday, Sept. 5, at 6:30
a.m., in Many, following a short illness.

  Rivers is survived by three sons, Joe Rivers, Andrew Rivers, and
Melvin Rivers, all of Silsbee, Tex.; two stepsons, Fred Remedies
of Pitkin, and Gene Rivers of Many; two daughters, Clara Garcia,
and Mary Jane Garcia, both of Zwolle; one brother, Phillip Rivers
of Zwolle; a sister, Mrs. Susan Sepulvado of Ajax; 13
grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church on
Saturday, Sept. 6, at 10 a.m., with Father Scully officiating.
Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
