L. H. Rivers

  L. H. Rivers, 87, of Zwolle, died in Mansfield's DeSoto General
Hospital Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 1:30 p.m., following a short
illness.

  Rivers is survived by his widow, Mrs. Selma Rivers of Zwolle;
four sons, Amos Rivers of Westlake, and L. H. Rivers of Sulphur;
two daughters, Mrs. Ray Jones of Zwolle, and Mrs. Thomas J.
Chisholm of Maitland, Florida; 13 grandchildren, and 13 great
grandchildren.

  Rivers was the oldest Deacon of the Zwolle First Baptist Church,
and was a Master Mason.

  Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church of
Zwolle, Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Lee Dickson
officiating.

  Burial was in the Zwolle Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Deacons of the First Baptist church.
