Thomas M. Rivers

  Thomas M. Rivers, 70, of Zwolle, died on Friday, July 21, at 7
a.m., following a short illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Jula Rivers of Zwolle; four
sons, Edwards Rivers of Dallas, Tex., Marvin Rivers of Pineville,
Wilburn Rivers of Crossett, Ark., and Franklin Rivers of
Shreveport; a daughter, Margaret Sepulvado of Noble; a sister,
Elizabeth Meshell of DeQuincy; 14 grandchildren, and three great
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held in the St. Joseph Catholic Church on
Saturday, July 22, at 2 p.m., with Father Patrick A. Scully
officiating. Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Jerry Tompkins, Patrick Parrie, Eddie Rivers,
Ray Sepulvado, Jerry Contreas, and James Rivers.
