Riley E. Rivers

  Riley E. Rivers, 52, of Mansfield, died Saturday night, March
15, in a Shreveport hospital, after a lengthy illness.

  The funeral was at 2 p.m., in Drewett Memorial Chapel, with the
Rev. B. F. Webb officiating. Burial was in Zwolle Cemetery.

  Survivors include his widow, Laverne Rivers; four sons, Johnny
Ray Rivers, and Patrick Rivers, both of Mansfield, Mike Rivers of
Keithville, and Monroe Rivers of Pleasant Hill; four daughters,
Elaine Brown, Judy Hershivser, Annette Rivers, and Margie Rivers,
all of Mansfield; a brother, James Rivers of Natchitoches; two
sisters, Betty Self of Vidor, Texas, and Doreatha Riley of Show
Low, Ariz.; and seven grandchildren.
