Lee Roy (Jake) Rivers

  Funeral services for Lee Roy (Jake) Rivers of Zwolle, were held
at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 3, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in
Zwolle. Msgr. Matthew Scanlon officiated. Burial followed in the
church cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mr. Rivers died Thursday, July 1, at his residence, following a
short illness. He was 65.

  Survivors include his widow, Leatha Rivers, Zwolle; three sons,
Joseph L. Rivers, Glenmora, Roy Rivers, Houston, Tex., and Gary
Mark Rivers, Zwolle; three daughters, Lucille Rivers, Lake
Charles, Martha Henderson, Zwolle, and Nancy Bison, Shreveport;
four brothers, Clyde Rivers, Zwolle, Thomas Rivers, Shreveport,
Richard Rivers, and Reasing Rivers of Zwolle; one sister, Maggie
Ebarb of Zwolle; and 10 grandchildren.

  Serving as pallbearers were his nephews, Sammy Rivers, Freddie
Rivers, Allen Rivers, Joseph Fred Rivers, Herbert Rivers, Danny
Rivers, Ronald Rivers, and Lawrence F. Ebarb.
