Fred D. Rivers

  Fred D. Rivers of Zwolle, died Sunday, Jan. 3, at 6:40 a.m., in
Many, following an extended illness. He was 76.

  Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church of
Zwolle, Monday, Jan. 4, at 4 p.m., with Msgr. Matthew Scanlon
officiating. Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Rivers is survived by his widow, Mrs. Catherine Rivers of
Zwolle; three sons, Joseph Fred Rivers, Herbert Patrick Rivers,
and Michael L. Rivers, all of Zwolle; four daughters, Mrs.
Charles Burlison, and Miss Sue Rivers, both of Shreveport, Mrs.
Douglas Agen of Keithville, and Miss Bonnie Rivers of Zwolle;
five brothers, Clyde Rivers, Richard Rivers, Leroy Rivers, and
Reasing Rivers, all of Zwolle, and Thomas Rivers of Bossier City;
a sister, Mrs. Lawrence Ebarb of Zwolle; 16 grandchildren; and
one great grandchild.

  A rosary was held for Mr. Rivers, Sunday evening, at 7:30 p.m.,
at Warren Meadows Chapel.
