Rivers Mr. Benjamin Rivers, 62, died in Pleasant Hill Hospital, on June 7, 1986, at 4:20 a.m., after an extended illness. Mr. Rivers was a member of the V. F. W., Disabled Veterans, and was in World War II. Services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, June 9, at 10 a.m., with Father Kenneth Williams officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marie G. Rivers of Noble; a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy R. Craig and Michael R. Craig; two grandsons, Brian Craig, and Nichols Craig; eight sisters, Josephine Garcie of Zwolle, Bertha Livingston, and Hazel Lustgraff, both of Shreveport, Mary Bell of Longview, Tex., Ruth Talley of Alabama, Doris Faye Malmay of Rockey Mount, Thelma Sue Morrison of Hineston, and Maggie Edmunds of Hornbeck; and a number of nieces and nephews.
