Mrs. Martha Ann Rivers

  Services for Mrs. Martha Ann Rivers, 90, of Shreveport, were
held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 10, at the Wellman Funeral
Home Chapel. The Rev. Grovie Moraus, associate pastor of Holy
Rosary Catholic Church, officiated. Graveside service was at 1:30
p.m., at St. Joseph Cemetery in Zwolle, with the Rev. Earl
Provenza of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Zwolle officiating.

  Mrs. Rivers, a housewife, and resident of Shreveport for the
past ten years, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 1987, at Southpark
Hospital, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Sabine Parish.
Mrs. Rivers was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

  She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Maybelle and
Norman Roscoe of Shreveport; two grandchildren, William Roscoe of
Haughton, and Tammy Roscoe of Shreveport; three great
grandchildren, Mike and Amy Rosco, and Kenney Chappell, all of
Shreveport; and a number of nieces and nephews.
