Mrs. Mary Roberson Rivers

  Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Roberson Rivers, 72, was held
Monday, Feb. 20, 1989, at 2 p.m., in the Carson Baptist Church,
with Rev. Don Hagar officiating. Interment followed in the Bayou
Scie Cemetery.

  Mrs. Rivers was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Rivers;
and one son,, Robert Dale Rivers.

  Mrs. Rivers died Feb. 18, 1989, in the DeSoto General Hospital
in Mansfield.

  Survivors included two sons, Kenneth R. Rivers of Zwolle, Paul
L. Rivers of Zwolle; five daughters, Nelda Stevens of Pleasant
Hill, Evelyn Champion of Many, Virginia Nash, Gayle Crittenden,
and Carrie Martinez, all of Zwolle; four sisters, Ruth Candella,
and Elaine Juzlin, both of Shreveport, Myrtle Gould of Bossier
City, and Wanda Sue Clark of New Orleans; 15 grandchildren; 13
great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.
