Mrs. Julia P. Rivers

  Mrs. Julia P. Rivers, 78, died at Sabine Medical Center in Many,
La., on March 10, 1989.

  Services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, on March 13,
1989, at 10 a.m., with Father Daniel Walsh officiating. Burial
was at St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Survivors include four sons, Julius Edward Rivers of Dallas,
Tex., Thomas Marvin Rivers Jr. of Shreveport, La., Wilburn Rivers
of Crossett, Ark., Franklin Rivers of Shreveport; one daughter,
Margaret Sepulvado of Zwolle; two brothers, Thomas Parrie of
Zwolle, and Leo Parrie of Zwolle; one sister, Maggie Collender of
Minden, La.; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one
great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers included Terry Ebarb, James Hubbard, Johnny Lynn
Parrie, Ed Meshell, Larry Funderburk, and James P. Parrie.
