C. R. (Con) Rivers

  Mr. C. R. (Con) Rivers, 88, died in Zwolle, La., on May 5, 1989,
at 12 p.m.

  Services were held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Zwolle, on
May 8, at 10 a.m., with Father Danny Walsh officiating. Burial
was at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Zwolle, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Louise E. Rivers of Zwolle; two
daughters, Hester Escott, and Dorothy L. Parrie, both of Zwolle;
one brother, Manuel Rivers of Zwolle; 14 grandchildren; 21 great
grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

  He was preceded in death by one daughter, Margaret Parrie.
