Selena Malmay Rivers

  Mrs. Selena Malmay Rivers, 78, passed away on Wednesday, October
4, in the DeSoto General Hospital in Mansfield.

  Funeral services for Mrs. Rivers were held on Friday, Oct. 6, at
3 p.m., in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, with interment
following in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Father Norman Buvens
officiated.

  Mrs. Rivers is survived by two daughters, Betty Ezernack of
Shreveport, and Callie Lopez of Zwolle; two brothers, Albert
Malmay of Zwolle, and Ed Malmay of Keithville; and several nieces
and nephews.

  She is preceded in death by her husband, Eli Rivers Sr.; one
son, Eli Rivers Jr.; and two daughters, Winnie Ebarb, and Marie
Carrier.
