Visitation was held at Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many, on Nov. 17. Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 18, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Ebarb. Father Danny Walsh officiated. Mrs. Rivers is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ben Rivers; six sons and their wives, Carson and Elaine Rivers, John E. and Ann Rivers, Pat and Connie Rivers, Jimmie P. Rivers, all of Zwolle, Ben H. and Nita Rivers of Bossier City, and Roger A. Rivers of West Palm Beach, Florida; three daughters and their husbands, Helen and Frank Elliott of Bossier City, Elaine and Tom Keith of Lake Park, Fla., Carolyn Sue and Jim Hedley of Deer Park, Tex.; thirty two grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren. Mrs. Rivers was preceded in death by her parents, John Carey and Louise (Ezernack) Ebarb. Pallbearers were her grandsons, USMC LCpl. Warren Elliott, Ben Elliott, Jeffrey Rivers, Michael Fay, Tommy Keith, and Rod Rivers. Honorary pallbearers were her six sons. The funeral mass servers were her great grandsons, James Meshell, Clint Rivers, Brandon Rivers; grandson Chris Rivers; and a great nephew, Chad Procell. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
