  Services for Mr. Patrick Wayne Rivers, 49, were held at 2 p.m.,
at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Officiating was father Dan
Walsh. Burial was held at St. Joseph's Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Patrick died Wednesday, March 24, in Blanchard, La.

  He is survived by his wife Connie M. Rivers of Shreveport; four
sons, Seth Morgan Rivers of Shreveport; two daughters, Virginia
Britt of Springhill, La., Joan Whiteside of Iowa; one step
daughter, Christa Ingersoll of Bossier City; two sisters, Kathy
Britt of Las Vegas, Nev., Delores Clayton of Shreveport; three
brothers, Johnny Rivers of Shreveport, Jimmy Rivers of
Keithville, La., Danny Rivers of Zwolle; two granddaughters,
Bridgett Britt, Kayla Ingersoll.

  He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Cuby Rivers;
four brothers, Lester Rivers, Richard Luke Rivers, Phillip Joe
Rivers, Benny Rivers, all of Zwolle.

  Pallbearers were Charles Adams, Paul Rivers, Martin Sepulvado
Jr., Bob Jackson, Bill Troutman, George Clayton, Pat Leone, and
Price Phillips. Honorary pallbearers were Noah Procell, and
Reasing Rivers.

  Mr. Patrick Wayne Rivers, son or Richard and Cuby Procell
Rivers, was born on June 11, 1943, in Zwolle. He died on
Wednesday, March 24, 1993, in Blanchard, La., from a massive
heart attack, while painting a house. He was 49 years, 9 months,
and 13 days old. Pat was the fourth of ten children, and the
fifth to die.
