Sam Arch Rivers Sr.

  Funeral services for Sam Arch Rivers Sr., 77, were held on
Friday, September 16, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle, at
11 a.m.

  Father John Kennedy officiated. Interment was in St. Joseph
Cemetery.

  Mr. Rivers passed away on September 14, 1994, at Schumpert
Medical Center.

  Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Mary Louise Rivers of Zwolle;
thirteen children, Sam A. Rivers of Zwolle, Vernon L. Rivers of
Zwolle, Warren Christopher Rivers of Las Vegas, Nev., Lindsey M.
Rivers of Zwolle, Gary W. Rivers of Zwolle, Stanley Rivers of
Many, Thomas Rivers of Many, Martha L. Procell of Zwolle, Cubie
M. Dartez of Bridge City, Tex., Emma L. Behan of Keithville, Mary
Maxine Isgitt of Shreveport, Ellen J. DeFrance of Fountain Colo.,
and Angela B. Rivers of Zwolle; four sisters, Lovell Renstrom of
Shreveport, Josephine White of Zwolle, Grace Sanders of Milam,
Tex., and Sylvia Procell of Noble; three brothers, Ben Rivers of
Zwolle, Andrew Rivers of Zwolle, and Garland Rivers of Blanchard;
twenty one grandchildren; and six great grandchildren; and a host
of nieces and nephews.
