Mr. Douglas Ray Rivers

  Mr. Douglas Ray Rivers, 63, died Monday, Aug. 24, at Veteran's
Hospital in Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 26, at
St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with interment following at St.
Joseph's Cemetery. Father David Richter officiated.

  Survivors include his widow, Doris Rivers of Zwolle; three
daughters, Debbie Garcie of Zwolle, Connie Paddie of Noble, and
Stephanie Hay of Negreet; two sons, Gary Rivers of Many, and
Stanley Rivers of Zwolle; mother, Carrie Rivers of Zwolle; two
sisters, Rachel Sepulvado, and Doris Rivers, both of Zwolle; one
brother, Clyde Rivers Jr. of Coronia, Calif.; 14 grandchildren;
and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Mr. Rivers was
preceded in death by his father, Clyde Rivers Sr.; one son,
Anthony Rivers; and one grandson, Jordan Hay.
