Jacob Lee Rivers

  Jacob Lee Rivers, 12, died Saturday, Oct. 31, at 2:45 p.m., at
Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 2, at St.
Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle, with interment following at St.
Joseph Cemetery. Monsignor Earl Provenza, Father Patrick Scully,
Father David Richter, and Father Peter Pulivelil officiated.

  Survivors include parents, Henry and Carla Rivers of Zwolle; two
younger brothers, Lance and Nolan Rivers, both of Zwolle;
grandparents, Sam A. Rivers Jr. and wife Henrietta, and G. J.
"Pie" Martinez and wife Gatha, both of Zwolle; great
grandmothers, Mrs. G. L. Martinez, and Mrs. Sam A. Rivers Sr. of
Zwolle; Godparents, Clark and Paula Rivers of Zwolle; and a host
of friends and loved ones.

  Pallbearers were Donald Ebarb, Gary Lee, Danny Ebarb, Kenneth
Walker, Rodney Rivers, and Alan Roberts.
