Riley Rivers

  Riley Rivers, 71, of Zwolle, died Feb. 9, in a local hospital,
after a short illness.

  Funeral services were conducted Feb. 10, at the Zwolle Church of
Christ, with Bro. Shelton Barryman, and Bro. Odis Jeans
officiating. Interment was in Zwolle Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. The body lay in
state at church, until time for service.

  Surviving relatives include his wife; three sons, Riley Elmer
Rivers, and Robert W. Rivers, both of Zwolle, and James M. Rivers
of Houston, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. J. C. Self of Houston, and
Mrs. Doretha Clary of Zwolle; three sisters, Mrs. Joe Turner of
Houma, Mrs. Sam Laroux of Mansfield, and Mrs. Laura Scott of
Zwolle; 15 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
