James Albert Rivers

  James Albert Rivers, 59, of Shreveport, died Monday, Oct. 2, in
Shreveport, after a short illness.

  Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Oct. 4, at the Warren
Meadows Funeral Chapel, with Father William Kwaaitaal
officiating. Interment was in the St. John Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ardie Rivers of Shreveport;
three daughters, Mrs. Harold Young, and Miss Wilma Rivers, both
of Shreveport, and Mrs. Hosea Ebarb of Many; a brother, Jodie
Rivers of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Moore of Beaumont,
Tex., and Mrs. Rosie Emmons of Shreveport; and two grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Junior Moore, Bill Moore, Jody Ray Moore,
Buster Rivers, Jacky Rivers, and Herman Joe Ferguson.
