Grover C. Rivers

  Grover Cleveland Rivers, 78, of Zwolle, died at his home,
Saturday morning.

  Funeral services were held on Sunday at 4 p.m., at Carson
Baptist Church, with the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts, and the Rev. James
Miller officiating.

  Burial was in the Bayou Scie Cemetery, under the direction of
Drewett Funeral Home.

  He is survived by one son, Virgil P. Rivers of Zwolle; three
stepchildren, Houston P. Rivers, and Clarence Rivers of Rock
Point, Texas, and Mrs. Eva Craig of Zwolle; one brother, L. H.
Rivers of Zwolle; one sister, Mrs. Lilly Wright of Converse; and
eight grandchildren.
