Joseph H. Rivers

  Last rites for Joseph H. Rivers, age 89, who died Jan. 22, were
conducted at Warren Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:30 p.m., Jan. 23,
with Rev. Barney Price officiating. Interment was in Many
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Sherry Hartsell, Lloyd Haviland, Claudie Jones,
Earl, Earnest, and William Stanfield.

  Survivors are his son, Louis K. Rivers of Waller, Texas;
daughters, Mrs. Goldie Stanfield, Zwolle, Mrs. T. H. Brumley,
Eunice, Mrs. H. B. Haviland, Lake Charles, Mrs. Louis A. Raseh,
Mrs. A. J. Bodeaux, both of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. A. C.
Hartsell of Lake Charles, Calif.; brothers, Cleve Rivers of
Zwolle, Harrison Rivers of Noble; sister, Mrs. Lillie Wright of
Converse; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
