J. Lee Rivers

  Funeral services for J. Lee Rivers, age 70, who was killed in a
car accident Nov. 14, was conducted at Trinity Baptist at 2 p.m.,
Nov. 16, with Rev. H. H. Tibbitts, and Rev. Jeff Tidwell
officiating. Interment was in Mt. Freedom Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were nephews.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. J. Lee Rivers of Many; four
brothers, Tom Rivers of Many, Clifton Rivers of Center, Texas, M.
H., and L. H. Rivers, both of Dallas; six sisters, Mrs. Nancy
Shoalmire of Converse, Mrs. Bacie Johnson of Natchitoches, Mrs.
Alice Herrington of Dallas, Mrs. Laverne Landle, and Mrs. Retha
Harvey, both of Raceland, La.
