Lee Rivers

  A Zwolle man was killed, and his wife and a niece were injured
in a one car accident near Mansfield, Wednesday, Nov. 14.

  Killed instantly in the crash was Lee Rivers, 73, according to
Dr. Jack Grindle, DeSoto Parish Coroner. Rivers' wife was treated
here for deep lacerations of the face and left leg, and
transferred to Schumpert Hospital in Shreveport, and the couple's
niece, Leah Joyce Johnson, 22, was treated for minor injuries and
released.

  The coroner said the car, driven by Mrs. Rivers, went out of
control and overturned in a curve on a rural road, between the
Hunter community and Many. Mr. Rivers died of a broken neck, Dr.
Grindle said.
