Mrs. Bertie Irene Rivers

  Funeral services for Mrs. Bertie Irene Rivers, age 50, who died
August 30, were conducted at Zwolle Baptist Church at 10 a.m.,
Sept. 1, with Rev. V. R. Miller, Rev. Preston Tibbitts, and Rev.
Earl George officiating. Interment was in Zwolle Cemetery, under
the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are husband, G. W. Rivers of Zwolle; daughters, Mrs.
Gladys Faulk of Many, Mrs. Virginia Lynch of Morgan City, Father
J. W. Moore of Zwolle, Stepchildren, G. W. Rivers Jr. of
Washington, D. C., Albert James of Hawaii, Jerry of Columbia, S.
C., Mrs. Aline Wright of Many, Mrs. Marilyn Fontenot of Houma;
brother, Elmer Moore of Many; sisters, Mrs. George Farmer of
Many, Mrs. Myrtie Dumas of Columbia, Mrs. Reba Post of Marshall,
Mrs. Claude Henderson, Mrs. Gertie Moore, and Mrs. James Eason,
all of Zwolle; five grandchildren.
