Arthur J. Rivers

  Funeral services for Arthur J. Rivers, 55, who passed away at
Zwolle, March 12, were conducted at First Baptist Church, Zwolle,
at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 13, with Rev. J. I. Funderburk
officiating. Interment was under the direction of Warren Funeral
Home.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Evelee Rivers, Zwolle; sisters,
Mrs. L. B. Shoalmire of Converse, Mrs. C. J. Johnson of
Natchitoches, Mrs. Harold Peacock of Robeline, Mrs. T. C.
Harrington of Dallas, Mrs. LeVerne Leland, and Mrs. Lavelle
Harvey, both of Raceland; brothers, Lee, and Tom Rivers of Many,
Clifton J. Rivers of Center, Tex., Murdic, and Randall Rivers,
both of Dallas, Tex.

  Pallbearers were Ed Jones, E. D. Tyler, Wiley Hawkins, C. G.
Bullard, Jack Gauntt, and C. E. Ross.

  Honorary pallbearers were L. Lefkovits, Frank Oakerson, Dr.
Hubert Provost, Jack Gruntt, Dr. Lloyd H. Murdock, Roy Sibley,
Jack Napier, James Sasser, K. D. Morrison, O. L. Salter Sr., and
M. L. Corley. Masonic rites were at graveside.
