  Funeral services for Jodie "Big Daddy" Rivers of Keithville,
will be held Wednesday, March 12, at 2 p.m., in St. Joseph's
Cemetery.

  Pallbearers will be Mike Anderson, Kevin Anderson, Terry Boddie,
Jeff Anderson, Cory Rivers, T. J. Boddie, and Cody DuBois.

  Mr. Rivers, 92, died at Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport
on March 10.

  He was born on April 20, 1910 in Noble. A self employed logging
contractor since 1949, he had worked out of Shreveport since
1954.

  Survivors include his widow, Katherine Rivers of Keithville; two
sons, Jacky Rivers and wife Zelma of Oil City, and Buster Rivers
and wife Carolyn of Keithville; a daughter, JoAnna Anderson and
husband Jack of Stonewall; 10 grandchildren; 10 great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

  He was preceded in death by a son, Donald D. Rivers; a grandson,
Patrick Rivers; and a great grandson, Kevin DuBois.
