The Sabine Index - Mrs. J. A. Rayford

  31 May 1940 - Mrs. J. A. Rayford, age 56, died at her home at Mt.
Carmel May 28 after a long illness.  Funeral services were held
Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Mt. Carmel.  In charge was Dennis-Green
funeral home with Elder W. M. Muse officiating.

  Mrs. Rayford is survived by her husband and five children, Mrs.
Jno H. Knippers of Many; W. E. Cook of Sugartown; Thurman Rayford of
Bossier City; V. T. Rayford of Pleasant Hill and Miss Mamie Rayford
of Monroe.  Five step-children, J. A., Jr., Louie and Wm. Rayford of
Mt. Carmel, Mrs. Barbara Hatcher of Monroe and Mrs. Walter McCrae of
Shreveport.
