Nancy M. Roberts

  Died -- at her residence in Sabine Parish La, June the 11th 1888,
Nancy M. Roberts wife of George Roberts.  She was born in Alabama
1835, her parents moved to Sabine Parish when she was very small.
They died and left her when she was about 13(?) years old, and
she ... with her brotherinlaw, Louis Schoubrock tell she married.
She was 53 years old 3 months and 5 days when she died.  She was a
kind and affectionate wife.  She joined the Baptist Church in 1874
and was devoted to her profession until her death.  She was confined
to her bed about 5 months before her death, her suffering were very
intense.  She bore it with Christian fortitude.  She told her husband
to pray and meet her in that better world.  She leaves a husband no
Children, but some she partly raised that loved her ......
