Mrs. Alice A. Roberts

  Mrs. Alice Azine Roberts, 73, a former Shreveport resident, died
Sunday, Aug. 24, in Albuquerque, N. M., after a sudden illness.

  A native of Converse, she lived in Shreveport until two years
ago. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Shreveport,
and the Magnolia Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.

  Graveside services were held Thursday, at 2 p.m., in Forest Park
Cemetery, with the Rev. Harold Simms officiating. Burial was
under the direction of the Rose-Neath Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Roberts is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Anne Waugh of
Albuquerque, and two grandchildren.

  Pallbearers will be A. D. Lewis, Mayland Herring, D. H. Marston,
Jim Lemee, Henry Kroger, and J. E. Waugh.
