Roberts, 78, a resident of Shreveport for 35 years, were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 10, at the South Side Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Burial was in the Noble Cemetery at Noble. Mrs. Roberts, a native of Noble, and a retired piano teacher, died at 10:05 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Shreveport, after a long illness. Officiating in services was the Rev. Troy Hall, chaplain at the Veterans Administration Hospital here. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Nell McCord of Stanley; a brother, Rubin Latham of Noble; and two grandchildren. Mrs. Roberts was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.
