George Roberts

  Services for George W. Roberts, 80, of Mansfield, were held at 2
p.m., Saturday, June 11, in the Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home
chapel, with the Rev. Joel Booth officiating. Burial was in Mount
Zion Cemetery.

  Mr. Roberts died Thursday, June 9, in a Shreveport hospital.

  He is survived by his four sons, James E. Roberts, Billy Joe
Roberts, Walter W. Roberts, and John M. Roberts, all of
Shreveport; four daughters, Mrs. Willie L. Bamburg, and Mrs.
Grady Bamburg, both of Coushatta, Mrs. Donald Cain of Memphis,
Tenn., and Mrs. Maurette Lewis of Atlanta, Ga.; three brothers,
Frank Roberts, C. D. Roberts, and Franklin Roberts, all of
Hornbeck; one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Gour of Caster, and 15
grandchildren.
