Wayne D. Roberts

  Wane D. Roberts, 69, of Hobbs, N. M., died Thursday, Feb. 7,
following a sudden illness.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 11, in the
Springridge Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerry Mitchell
officiating. Burial followed in the Springridge Cemetery, with
Masonic graveside services, under the direction of the
Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his widow, Ruby Roberts of Hobbs; one
daughter, Barbara Peterson of Hobbs; three sisters, Velma Gregg
of Alamogordo, New Mex., Ethel Allen of Beaumont, Texas, and Faye
Newman of Bude Miss.; four brothers, E. L. Roberts of Robeline,
G. E. Roberts of Flora, R. T. Roberts of Houston, Texas, and L.
C. Roberts of Odessa, Texas; and two grandchildren.
