John Marvin Roberts

  Funeral services for John Marvin Roberts of Mansfield, were held
at 2 p.m., Friday, April 17, at the Drewett Memorial Chapel.
Officiating was the Rev. Marshall Ingle.

  Burial was at Prude Cemetery in Mansfield. Masonic graveside
services were conducted.

  Mr. Roberts died Thursday, April 16, at 10:30 a.m., in the
DeSoto General Hospital, following a short illness. He was 78.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Bessie E. Roberts of
Mansfield; three sisters, Mrs. Maudie Dell Bissell, and Mrs. Vera
Barbara, both of Mansfield, and Mrs. Melvy Evans of Converse.
