Roberts Funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie C. Roberts, 58, of Natchitoches, will be held Wednesday, April 24, 1996, at 2 p.m., at the Chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 8 a.m., until service time, at the funeral home. Rev. David Allen will be officiating, with interment to follow at Belmont Cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mrs. Roberts passed away Monday, April 22, 1996, at her residence. She was a native of Belmont. She retired from Valley Farmers Co-op in Natchitoches, as a sales clerk, and was a member of the Oasis of Love Church in Natchitoches. Survivors include her mother, Clara Carter of Pleasant Hill; two sons, John Dewight Roberts, and Marty Delane Roberts, both of Natchitoches; three brothers, Julian Carter of Haynesville, Billy Carter, and Glen Carter, both of Belmont; and one grandson, William Roberts of Natchitoches. Pallbearers will be Robbie Scarborough, Ronnie Byles, Jackie Gorum, Rex Britt, Joe Reed LaCour, Nelson Marcelli. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Bolton, and all previous and present Valley Farmers Co-op employees, board members, and all farmers in Natchitoches and Boyce areas.
