O. A. Robertson

  O. A. Robertson, 70, of Peason, died Tuesday, March 28, in Many,
after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 29, in the Mt.
Carmel Baptist Church, with the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts, the Rev.
Lynn Jones, and the Rev. J. C. Edwards officiating. Burial was in
the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ettie Bell Robertson of Peason;
three sons, B. R. Robertson of Florien, B. F. Robertson of
Sulphur, B. D. Robertson of Florien; three daughters, Mrs. Bertha
McCullough of Peason, Mrs. Bertie Lemmons of Shreveport, and Mrs.
Barbara Wiley of Shreveport; three sisters, Mrs. Lora Dowden, and
Mrs. Otis Dowden, both of Bossier City, and Mrs. Elta Mae
Williams of Shreveport; 18 grandchildren; and one great
grandchild.

  Pallbearers were Preston Hilton, Harold Williams, John Billy
Dowden, Maurice Westfall, Bill Herrington, and G. C. Stewart.
