Mrs. Bessie Smith Roberts

  Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Smith Roberts, age 69, who died
April 17, was conducted at Provencal Baptist Church at 10:30
a.m., April 19, with Rev. O. S. Roberts, and Rev. H. H. Tibbitts
officiating. Interment was in Roberts Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Burton, Ronald, and Howard Smith, Oscars,
Ernest, and Ray Roberts.

  Survivors are her husband, Rev. A. C. Roberts of Provencal;
three sons, M/Sgt. E. L. Roberts of Fort Bragg, N. C., Vay A.
Roberts of Santa Barbara, Calif., Otha Roberts of Sulphur; three
brothers, Rev. E. P. Smith, and Rev. Elmer E. Smith, both of
Shreveport, Sam Smith of Bunkie; 14 grandchildren.
