Interment was at Many Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. The Rev. Ray Spiller officiated. Mr. Rayburn died Wednesday, Jan. 20, at 9:20 p.m., at Fraser Hospital North, following a short illness. He was 76. Mr. Rayburn retired as a machinist with Mobil Oil, after 40 years. After retirement, he returned to farming. His farm was located in Hornbeck. He is survived by his widow, Marie Rayburn of Many; a son, John Paul Rayburn of many; six sisters, Hazel Pierce, and Ethel Lee Stewts, both of Port Arthur, Tex., Mae Sirman of Hornbeck, Hattie Crowell of Beaumont, Tex., Clara Belle Presley, and Lolitha Jones, both of DeRidder; three brothers, Steve Rayburn of Hornbeck, John Rayburn of Beaumont, and Clyde Rayburn of Leesville. Pallbearers were John Moore, John Curtis, Mac McInnes, Robert Moore, Joe Palmer, and Jack Collier.
