Miss Velma Rayburn

  Funeral services for Miss Velma Rayburn, 66, of Hornbeck, were
held in the Hornbeck Methodist Church, Sunday, Jan. 19, with the
Rev. R. M. Harrell officiating, assisted by the Rev. Charles
Sike. Burial was in the Holly Grove Cemetery.

  Miss Rayburn died Saturday afternoon, in the Beauregard Memorial
Baptist Hospital in DeRidder. She was a retired school teacher,
and taught for 40 years in the Vernon Parish schools.

  Among the survivors is a sister, Mrs. Mae Sirmon of Hornbeck.
