Born in Winnona, Miss., Mrs. Ross was a resident of Shreveport since 1948, and had retired from South Central Bell after 28 years of service. She lived in Many several years before moving to Shreveport. The Rev. J. M. Carson officiated at services at the First National Funeral Home, Aug. 3, at 2 p.m. Graveside services were conducted Thursday in the Fender Memorial Cemetery in Many, by the Rev. Hoy Leach Jr. Mrs. Ross is survived by two daughters, four brothers, three sisters, and five grandchildren, and a brother-in-law, Gene Ross of Many.
