  Mrs. Van D. Rice, 77, of Many died Wednesday, Oct. 29 at Sabine Medical
Center. Funeral services were held at Long Star Baptist Church. Burial
followed at Monk Cemetery in Bayou Scie. Funeral service were under the
direction of Thomas Mortuary.
