All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** The Sabine Index - William Ross 30 Aug 1935 - William (Snooky) Ross, 21, of Pleasant Hill was instantly killed about 8:30 p.m. last Thursday when the pick-up he was driving overturned on a curve two miles north of Zwolle. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist church, Pleasant Hill, last Friday at 4:30 p.m., with the pastor, Rev. A. M. Holland, officiating, assisted by Rev. E. C. Harris, pastor of the Calvary Baptist church of Many, interment being made in the Spring Ridge cemetery. Ross is survived by his father, W. R. Ross; two brothers, Ardis Ross and Wayne Ross, and four sisters, Mrs. Ike Emmons, Mrs. Fritz Lee, Mrs. R. L. Moffett, sister-in-law of a man also injured in the accident, and Mrs. Joe Hinkey. All reside in Pleasant Hill.
