The Sabine Index - W. A. Ricks 
  
  3 Feb 1939 - Funeral rites for W. A. Ricks, age 66 years, were 
held at Mt. Carmel church Sunday, Jan. 29, with Rev. Henry T. 
Young officiating, the Dennis-Green funeral home directing the 
funeral. 
  
  Pallbearers were: Geo. W. Addison, S. J. Wall, J. H. Skinner, 
Elmer Gandy, Sam Hyatt, and Buddy Hyatt. 
  
  Surviving Mr. Ricks are the widow, Mrs. Joana Ricks; four sons 
and three daughters; one sister, Mrs. T. M. Self of Robeline and 
one brother, Rev. J. H. Ricks, of Mt. Carmel.
