The Sabine Index - Mrs. I. J. Rice 
  
  20 Nov 1959 - Last rites for Mrs. I. J. Rice age 75, who died at 
her home, Nov. 14 were conducted at Ebenezer Baptist church at 10 
a.m. Nov. 15 with Rev. Coda Salter officiating, assisted by Rev. 
J. P. King. Interment was in church cemetery under the direction 
of Warren Funeral home. 
  
  Pallbearers were Jack Salter, Johnny Corley, Bob Cook, Wilbur 
Lee Salter, Davis Braud and Billy Joe Peterson. 
  
  Survivors are husband, I. J. Rice of Florien; sons, Fred and 
George Rice, both of Springfield, Oregon; daughters, Mrs. George 
Morris of Springfield, Oregon, Mrs. Howard Salter, Mrs. J. W. 
Law, both of Florien, Mrs. Orville Conner of Houston, Tex., Mrs. 
Blanche Carroll of Many; sisters, Mrs. Delia House of Fisher, 
Mrs. Etta Miller and Mrs. John Miller, both of Florien; Mrs 
Lizzie Waller of Shreveport, 32 grandchildren, 10 great 
grandchildren.
