Ross 7 Nov 1952 - Funeral services for J. M. Ross, 75, who died Oct. 29 at home in Many after an extended illness, were held at 10 a.m. Oct. 31 at Beulah Baptist church with Rev. Coda Salter and Rev. A. O. Youngblood officiating. Interment was under direction of Warren funeral home. Pallbearers were Bennie Goss, Howard Goss, Addison Camp, Clinton Rhodes, Elvin Jones and Wiley Ross. Surviving relatives include; wife, Mrs. Matlain Ross, Many, sons, Edward C. and Allen, of Many, Cecil C. of Duberly, William of Alvin, Texas; daughters, Mrs. Alma Edwards of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Bernice Freeman of Mansfield, Mrs. Katherine Derrick, Misses Mable, Charlsie and Euladean Ross, all of Many, and Miss Gladys Ross of New Brunswick, N. J.; sister, Mrs. Paralee Jones of Hornbeck, and 11 grandchildren.
