Ross, 54, of Jennings, died Wednesday, July 21, at 6:30 p.m., after a short illness. Funeral services were held Friday, July 23, at 2 p.m., in the Many First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Coda Salter, the Rev. Kenneth Leach, and the Rev. Rod Smith officiating. Survivors include his wife Juanita, of Jennings; two sons, James Gregory Ross, and Michael Floyd Ross; his mother, Mrs. J. M. Ross of Many; three brothers, E. C., and Allen Ross, both of Many, and Cecil Ross of Minden; seven sisters, Mrs. Dean Hembree, Miss Mabel Ross, Mrs. Katherine Derrick, and Mrs. Gladys Boise, all of Many, Mrs. Alma Edwards of Denver, Mrs. Charlsie Wright of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Bernice Freeman of Mansfield.
