Ruby Louise Lockwood Ricks 
  
  Ruby Louise Lockwood Ricks, died May 19, 2000 in Shreveport. She 
was born June 25, 1916 near Mt. Carmel. 
  
  Funeral services were held Monday, May 22 at the Church of Jesus 
Christ of Latter Day Saints with interment following at Mt. 
Carmel Cemetery. 
  
  Survivors include four children, William Ricks and wife, Dorothy 
of Orange, Texas, Carolyn Funderburk and husband, Willis, Mary 
Burson and husband, Hershel of Shelby Township, Mich. and James 
Ricks; seven grandchildren, Lesa Ricks Giarratano, Dave, Charles 
and Wade Funderburk, Gina Williams Funderburk and Chad and 
Kimberly Burson; eight great grandchildren; brother, Lynn 
Lockwood; beloved uncle Fred Wagley;and a host of cousins, nieces 
and nephews. Mrs. Ricks was preceded in death by her hus- band, 
J. B. Ricks; parents, Narra and Nina Wagley Lockwood; two 
sisters, Norma Goodman and Neva Corley; and a brother. Clifton 
Lockwood. 
  
  Pallbearers were her grandsons.
