Marion A. Richey

  Marion A. (Levi) Richey, 78, of Pelican, died Monday, Nov. 26,
at his residence, after a long illness.

  Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 2 p.m., in Pelican
United Methodist church, with the Rev. Jerry Pinner, and the Rev.
D. R. Bolton officiating. Burial followed in Pelican Cemetery,
under the direction of Coushatta Rose-Neath Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Velmer Richey of Pelican; one
son, Charles Richey of Guyman, Okla.; eight daughters, Ruby Burns
of Shreveport, Magalene Barnes of Keithville, Verna Gabel of
Monroe, Mallie Litton of Pleasant Hill, Carrie Laffitte of
Oxford, Saralene Touchtone, and Patricia Cooper, both of Pelican,
and Barbara Wedgeworth of Many; 31 grandchildren; 12 great
grandchildren, and four step great grandchildren.
