The funeral was held Feb. 8, at 2 p.m., Friday, in Pelican Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jerry Pinner, and the Rev. J. R. Bolton officiating. Burial followed in the Pelican Cemetery. Survivors include one son, Charles E. Richey of Guymon, Okla.; eight daughters, Ruby Burns of Shreveport, Magalene Barnes of Keithville, Verna Gable of Monroe, Mollie Litton of Pleasant Hill, Carrie Lafitte of Mansfield, Sara Touchstone, and Patricia Cooper, both of Pelican, and Barbara Wedgeworth of Many; her stepmother, Mrs. Zoe Morris of Oak Grove; two brothers, J. E. Morris of Zwolle, and Alvin Morris of Washington state; one sister, Sybil Land of Shreveport; 31 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
